MEET THE OWNER –
Jake Vitt
Jake Vitt’s entrepreneurial journey began in the sixth grade with a push mower and a passion for taking care of his family's yard. What started as mowing a few neighborhood lawns has grown into Logan Lawn and Landscaping—now proudly serving residential and commercial clients across six counties. This year, the company celebrates 35 years of service, a milestone that reflects decades of dedication, growth, and community trust.
In 2022, after serving as the Athletic Director at West Liberty-Salem for 20 years, Jake transitioned from balancing two careers to focusing on the business full-time. Though no longer in the role, he remains a familiar face at WL-S athletic events, where he continues to support the student-athletes and programs he helped lead for two decades.
Jake uses his passion for educating and mentoring young teens to provide them with meaningful employment opportunities through Logan Lawn and Landscaping. Many of the company’s crews are made up of local students, giving them valuable work experience and instilling a strong work ethic.
Deeply rooted in the West Liberty community, Jake has served as a Liberty Township Trustee and has been a dedicated member of both the West Liberty Lions Club and the West Liberty Fire Department since 2001. His commitment to service is matched only by his love of the outdoors—spending free time landscaping his own property, camping, boating, retreating to Florida for a relaxed lifestyle, and cheering on Ohio State athletics.

MEET OUR SECRETARY –
Liza Holliday
Liza lives in West Liberty with her husband and children and is a graduate of West Liberty-Salem Schools. For over 15 years she has worked in education, supporting at-risk youth in Clark County. She joined Logan Lawn and Landscaping, LLC team in 2024 and currently provides support in the office with bookkeeping, job tracking, and customer service. Outside of work, Liza enjoys attending community events, cheering on her kids at WL-S sporting events, traveling, and spending time on her family’s farm.
MEET OUR FIELD MANAGER –
Austin Springer
With over a decade in the green industry, Austin brings deep expertise in landscape operations, turf management, and crew leadership to his role as Field Manager at Logan Lawn & Landscaping. He began his career at Scarff’s Nursery as Lead Foreman, managing residential and commercial landscape installs. At Henderson Turf, he gained experience in erosion control and hydroseeding. Austin then joined Big Greens, advancing from Commercial Mowing Lead Foreman to Operations Manager, where he oversaw multiple divisions and crews. Now at Logan, he supports daily operations, leads field teams, and ensures top-tier service. Outside of work, Austin enjoys time with his wife Lexi, their dogs Luna and Theo, attending sporting events, hunting, and lake outings.
